- Sometimes customers do not attach the fonts that they used to their Photoshop file; or
- Sometimes customers do send the fonts, but we are not licenced to use them.
The easiest way to avoid a problem with your fonts is to outline the fonts. This will mean that the fonts are no longer an issue.
This page has some illustrations on how to outline fonts in a Photoshop file — Photoshop also terms it "Coverting to Shapes"..
Outlining Text and Fonts in Photoshop
Below is a screenshot of a Photoshop file with some text, and we want to outline that text.

First, choose "Select", and then choose "All Layers". The below screenshot shows where you will find the command on an Apple-Mac. PCs should have something similar.

Second, you choose "Layers", then "Type", then "Convert to Shape" (see below screen shot).

Your Photoshop file now has the text outlined (or, as Photoshop terms it, converted to a shape).
Save your file with a new name (e.g.: "TheInternetPrinter Bus Card outlined"). This will allow you to alter the text at a latet time.
Send your outlined file off to your commercial printer.
Just save your file an the process is complete.
