Zipping and Stuffing Files

Home — TheInternetPrinter > Preparing files > Zipping & Stuffing Files

Files can become corriupted when transmitted over the Internet. The easiest way to prevent files becomming corrupted is to reduce the amoun t of data being transferred. Stuffing or zippijg files is one way to reduce the size of your file and, therefore, the amount of data being transferred.

Given the above simple fact, we suggest:

  • You create a folder with all you files in it — this folder will have your finished file, any images and font files.
  • You zip or stuff that one folder.

If you do not have any file stuffing or zipping programs, try the below links — once you have download the software, you will have it for life and you can use it to asend large files to other people (including large photos to friends).

Our file uploading server is very reliable. However, we suggest you limit the size of any file you might upload to 250mb. If you are on a low capacity connection (e.g.: Dail-up or ADSL 1), then we suggest you limit your file to 50mb.

Files larger that those listed above may be mailed to us.
