Leaflet Pamphlet Brochure and Flyer Paper Stocks

Digitally printed flyers, brochures, pamphlets and leaflets are printed on either:

Soft papers, and these consist of 120gsm, 210gsm or 280gsm paper. These are papers that fold easily.
300gsm or 350gsm, and these are more of the 'card board' type stocks.

Offset printed flyers, brochures, leaflets and pamphlets are printed on one of two paper stocks:

150gsm Gloss
310gsm Satin Art Board.

Folded leaflets, brochures, pamphlets and flyers

Folded brochures, leaflets and pamphlets are, as the description explicitly declares, folded. Depending on the particular product, the flyer can be folded one (i.e.: folded in half) or folded twice (i.e.: folded into thirds) or folded thrice (i.e.: folded into quarters). The specific types of folds that TheInternetPrinter offers are shown below.

Half-folded brochure and flyer. The brochure has four (4) panels. Two (2) panels on the outside, and two (2) panels on the inside.
Z-folded brochure and flyer (also called a S-fold). The brochure has six (6) panels. Three (3) panels on one side, and three (3) panels on the other side.	Tri-folded brochure and flyer. The brochure has six (6) panels. Three (3) panels on one side, and three (3) panels on the other side.
Concertina-folded brochure and flyer. The brochure has eight (8) panels. Four (4) panels on one side, and four (4) panels on the other side.	Four-panel-folded brochure and flyer. The brochure has eight (8) panels. Four (4) panels on one side, and four (4) panels on the other side.
Gate-folded brochure and flyer. The brochure has eight (8) panels. Four (4) panels on one side, and four (4) panels on the other side.	Rolled-folded brochure and flyer. The brochure has eight panels. Four (4) panels on one side, and four (4) panels on the other side.
12-panel Gate-folded brochure. The brochure has twelve (12) panels. Six (6) panels on one side, and six (6) panels on the other side.	12-panel Z-folded brochure. The brochure has twelve (12) panels. Six (6) panels on one side, and six (6) panels on the other side.

All folded leaflet, brochure, pamphlet and flyers are printed in full colour on the front.

Offset printed folded leaflets, flyers, pamphlets and brochures (we call them Discount Priced leaflets, flyers, pamphleta and brochures) are printed in full colour on both sides.

Digitally printed leaflets, flyers, pamphlets and brochures can be printed on one side only, and the front is always in full colour, and you have a choice for the back. those choices are full colour, black and white (and every shade of grey), or you can choose to have the back with nothing on it at all.

All of our folded leaflets, brochures, pamphlets and flyers can be offset printed, and offset printing prices are very competitive.

If you need your printing job quickly, then you can select to have them digitally printed. Please note, however, that not all the folded products are offered in the digital printing process.

Leaflet, brochure, pamphlet and flyer sizes

TheInternetPrinter offers leaflets, brochures, pamplets and flyers in many different sizes:

A4 Six page — 297mm x 630mm (or one-and-one-half the size of an A3 sheet) when flat, and folds to A4;
A4 Four page — 297mm x 420mm (or A3-sized) when flat, and folds to A4;
A5 Four page — 210mm x 297mm (or A4-sized) when flat, and folds to A5;
A6 Four page — 148mm x 210mm (or A5-sized) when flat, and folds to A6;
DL Four page — 198mm x 210mm (or two-thirds the size of A4) when flat, and folds to DL (or folds to one-third the size of A4);
DL Six page — 210mm x 297mm (or A4-sized) when flat, and folds to DL (or folds to one-third the size of A4);
DL Eight page — 210mm x 396mm (or one-and-one-third the size of an A4 sheet) when flat, and folds to DL (or folds to one-third the size of A4); and
DL Twelve page — 297mm x 420mm (or twice the size of an A4 sheet) when flat, and folds to DL (or folds to one-third the size of A4).

Digitally printed leaflets, brochures, pamphlets and flyers

Digitally printed leaflets, pamphlets, brochures and flyers can be ordered in the exact quantity that you want. Also, they can be printed very quickly.

The quality of digitally printed leaflets, pamphlets, brochures and flyers is as good as, and often even better than, traditioonally printed products. the only real difference is that the digitally printed leaflets, pamphlets, brochures and flyers are printed with electricity being used to apply the dry ink (often called toner), instead of the normal wet inks.

Offset printed leaflets, brochures, pamphlets and flyers

Offset printing (we call it Discount Priced Printing) is the traditional method of printing. It uses wet ink, large machines and creates lots of noise.

Discount priced printing is very good if you want to order larger quantities.

Multiple designs

You can place up to ten different designs with each order. However, each design must be ordered in equal numbers.

It is easy to see how the price will alter if you choose to purchase many designs on the one order.

Choose how many jobs (i.e.: unique designs) you want. The example on the right has selected "2" different jobs (see green box).
Choose how the quantity that you want for each job (i.e.: for each unique design). The example on the right has selected "500" for each job.
The "Total quantity to be purchased" is then calculated (see red box).

The savings you will make by 'gathering' several orders into the one multiple order depend upon the type of printing service you request.

The digital printing service offers considerable savings, as you are charged on the number of A3 sheets that are used, and on whether the pages are single- or double-sided.
The offset printing service offers limited savings. Simply put, offset printing presses use expensive printing plates, and each design requires its own plate. This means that the only real saving offered is in the freight component.

If you are skilled in commercial printing programs, then our file requirements can be expressed quite simply:

We have a strong preference for PDFs.
Use the CMYK colour gamut.
Set the file resolution at at least 300dpi (300 dots per inch, or 300 point per inch).
Provide 3mm bleeds on each edge.
Do NOT place registration marks, colour bars or file names on a PDF. Crop marks are welcome.
Outline all the text (or convert to curves). This solves any licensing problems that might occur with the fonts.
Do NOT impose the file. Have each side of the flyer shown on a different page.
